Attorney General KK Venugopal went into self quarantine after one of his colleague tested Positive for COVID-19
The Apex court was informed by Additional-Solicitor General SV Raju that Attorney-General KK Venugopal had gone into self-quarantine after one of his colleagues tested positive for COVID-19.
A Bench of Justices L. Nageswara Rao and Hemant Gupta were hearing a matter pertaining to appointment to various Tribunals during this hearing the Additional solicitor general demanded for adjournment on the ground that Attorney general KK Venugopal is in quarantine. Now matter is listed to 15 September 2020.
The whole matter is that one of person who works with Attorney general has been tested COVID-19 positive. Attorney General is fit and fine and he is only in self-isolation. It has further been reported that the entire office has gone into self-isolation.
